Giving away a 32GB iPod Touch 2G!!

I’d first like to take time out and say hello to thecreativeone social blog, so here it is HELLO!!

I have had a youtube account for almost a year now.  I feel blessed to have found youtube and the community that comes along with it, i have gotten to know very good people on youtube and the mac community is a community to die for!  I think that by giving away this iPod Touch 2G, it is a way to give back to the youtube and mac community.

Power Support Airjacket for the iPhone 3G

So far its a great case. It will not let any dust in. Though, you should keep in mind that the top and bottom of the case are exposed meaning it is up for scratching. I will have a review soon. If you like this post and want more like it subscribe to youtube.com/techinfoteam. The video explains it all so not much to write about.

My Day to Day iPhone Apps: Inspired by Dennis S

Hey guys, so Dennis S wrote an article on the iPhone apps that he uses on a day-to-day basis and I decided to do the same thing. I have bought and downloaded many apps and although I am not an app expert I still feel that I have a lot of experience in the world of iPhone Apps.  So here are the few that I have kept since I got the iPhone and have been using daily.

Facebook-This app is for all the Facebook users out there. The new version is a big jump from the old one and I find it to be very convenient for all those who like to “stalk on the go.”

Mint.com-This app is for those who want to check their bank accounts on the go. The reason why this App dominates all the rest is because not only is it absolutely beautiful but you can link your Mint.com account with the iPhone so even if you don’t have an iPhone you can check out account at any computer. It also enables you to set a daily, weekly, or monthly budget and to even further categorize those budgets such as an entertainment, gas, or food budget.

Remote-This app enables one to control their iTunes from the comfort of the iPhone, great for parties.

NYTimes-This app is pretty self-explanatory, it’s just the NYTimes on the iPhone.

CityTransit-living in the NYC I always use the subway and having a handy subway map always on       me is great, which is what makes this app so useful. It displays a map of NYC subways.

Games-Fieldrunners, Tap Tap, Contraption, Zombies.... Each of these games are very fun, addicting, and maybe most importantly don’t get boring after extended use.

Yelp-this is the best “what is around me” app.

iTranslate-this is a translator app great for anyone taking a language class.

iPhone: My Apps

Ever since I purchased my iPhone, I've played around with lots of Apps and have settled down to a handful of Apps that I consistently use.

NOTE: I'm not going to include the applications that come with the iPhone. This list of Apps does not include games.

This is just a small, partial list of my Apps. To see the full list and more of this article, check out my site DennisSiller.com

ToDo - Free
by Erica Sadun

I use this App on a daily basis. It allows me to prioritize things that I need to do as well as have notes about the ToDos.

Shazam - Free
by Shazam Entertainment Ltd.

Ever hear a song and wonder what the name/artist is? Shazam uses your microphone to listen to the song and tell you what it is. It also gives you direct links to YouTube and the iTunes Music Store.

Facebook - Free
by Facebook Inc.

For anyone that is a part of the social networking site Facebook, this is definitely the next best thing to checking your Facebook page on the computer. You can send/receive Friend Requests, see notifications, write on Walls, scroll through pictures, and much more!

Weatherbug - Free
by Weatherbug

I check this App every morning before I head outside. It's a nice free upgrade from the Weather App that comes with the iPhone. With Weatherbug you can see a forecast, an interactive radar map, weather alerts, and more. Definitely recommended!

Shovel - Free
by Scott Fitzhugh

If you go to Digg.com for your news (like me), you'll find this App very useful. It takes the popular stories from any genre that you choose and lists them on your screen. You can't digg these stories, but at least you can read them.

WeDict - $5.99
by Hongtao Guo

I've found it very useful to have a dictionary on my phone. I snatched this app when it was free for a limited time but $6 isn't that bad in my mind if you want to be able to look up any word on the spot.
