So, My Mac is Dead...

I've had a very stressful couple of weeks when it comes to my gadgets. For a while now, my iMac has been turning off at random times. When it first happened, i just thought it was a power surge. It has been happening a lot more frequently lately. I have tried everything, reseting PRAM, SMC, hardware test, RAM tests. Nothing worked. So my final option was to reinstall the OS. I backed up my drive, and tried a reinstall. Well, my iMac crashed during the reinstall.....4 times. So now my Mac has no OS, it's unusable. My only other option was to go to the Genius Bar, but driving to my closest Apple Store (which really isn't that close), plus leaving my computer there, having to deal with the representatives (I'm not fond of customer service), and other things is such an inconvinience, it seemed much simpler to buy one of the newer, better, iMacs for about half the price I got mine. Since I don't have the money for one, i was hoping that i might be able to get Apple to replace it. Wishful thinking huh? So right now I'm waiting for an Apple technician to come to my house and examine the iMac. Wish me luck, hopefully the technician will just "call it", put a blanket over the iMac, and tell me to get a new one. I would feel much less paranoid if I had a new computer instead of using my old one that had to be repaired. Anyway, thats enough of my venting, hopefully I can get back to my Mac soon and stop using this damned Windows machine. (I don't really have a problem with Windows, but this computer is just horrible, hardware wise. But using Windows as a primary computer for longer than a few hours does take its toll) Anyway, enough venting/ranting, see you soon.

Sorry about your iMac. But your acting spoiled. You claim using the PC is such a bad thing. Hell, somne people don't have enough money for a computer whatsoever. Just be consent with what you have. Geez
