Apple changing its ways?

To date the gaming on any platform from Apple has been dismal but with the release of the iPod Touch the mobile gaming world has been revolutionised. To begin with Apple didn't know what audience to target the iTouch at but now thanks to customer help it has been realised that the iPod Touch is an excellent device for mobile gaming. As Steve Jobs said in a recent interview with New York Times:

“"Originally, we were no’t exactly sure how to market the Touch. Was it an iPhone without the phone? Was it a pocket computer? What happened was, what customers told us was, they started to see it as a game machine,” he said. “We started to market it that way, and it just took off."

Combining the iPod Touch's excellent hardware, its incredible software and the potential for the Online App store you have the potential for a revolutionary mobile gaming device. So Apple are hiring a iPhone Game Developer with experience. =]

But what would you want to see from the iPod Touch, in terms of gaming, in the future? How could they improve the games? What titles would you like to see? Additional Hardware?
