Mac Upgrade and Unboxing

For a while now I was in the market to purchase a new Mac to replace my aging MacBook Pro.  My current computer, a 15.4" 1.83GHz Intel Core Duo MacBook Pro is a very fine computer but as with most things you tend to outgrow them.  For me my MacBook Pro was starting to show it's age when it came to using iMovie, playing HD videos, or any other graphic intense project.  While I had thought about just upgrading to the current MacBook Pro, I just didn't see the true value.  I already had a computer with a 15" screen and I already had a computer with a relatively small hard drive and these were two areas that I wanted to really improve upon.  So when Apple introduced the new line of iMacs last month I got really excited.  For me I never gave the 21.5" a look, I fell in love with the beauty of the 27".  The next choice for me was either between the base 27" model or the i5.  After some research online I found that the i5 would better serve me for a longer period of time, which is just perfect because I wanted a computer that would last for many years to come.  So after all that, here is my unboxing of the 27" iMac i5 Quad Core.  If you would like, you can follow me on Twitter

Congrats Man! Hope you have a great time with it. By the way, Tripods help. But I understand, I have done that too. But besides the shakiness, nice unboxing.

Nice unboxing! Can you explain a little more about why you didn't get the i7? I am interested.

Overall great video!

Very nice get! Enjoy!

I still like the intro ditty when firing up a new Mac, but the dude "singing" along at the start is getting on my nerves now! LOL! I mean, it's okay if the new owner of the machine does the whole "doot doot" business, but they should edit that guy our in Garage Band!

Thanks all, and yes I guess a tripod is necessary for next time LOL

As for the i7, it would have been nice to have, but for me I believe it would have been overkill. I don't think the work that I do on my computer warrants me having an i7. It would have been nice, but I'd rather use the extra $200 on more memory.
