eMachines EL100G-02W Review

This netbook PC  is insanely FAST! The specs are:

AMD Athlon 64 running at 1.60GHz. 1GB of DDR2 RAM (Upgradable to 4GB); 160GB SATA ll 2.5″ hard drive running at 5400 RPM; SuperMulti DVD±RW Labelflash; optical drive ;Nvidia GeForce 6150SE (Up to 128MB of shared video memory)

This little machine was out of the box compatible with Windows 7, but Window XP was already loaded on it. When my parents first got it, I thought it was going to be a piece of garbage. But when I hooked it up, the computer was FAST! I already knew it was going to be faster than my previous desktop because it had 1 GB of RAM. It’s like it has been supercharged. I wouldn’t say it’s the fastest computer in the world, but it is fast for an energy efficient netbook; a great purchase. In my opinion, this computer would be in-between basic use and entertainment. You can so do some light gaming on it, but I do recommend upgrading this computer to 4 GB to get the best gaming experience this computer can handle.
