Ski Goggles with a HUD

Finally, one company is making the move into the next generation of ski goggles. Recon Instruments is introducing a new set of ski goggles in which will feature a Heads Up Display (HUD).

With the use the of this HUD, the goggles will be able to show how fast you are rocketing down a slope, the distance of a jump, and even how much air you get. Also, using GPS, it seems like it will be able to show you exactly where your friends are, as well as bring up a map of the ski resort.

Finally, what may be the coolest feature, it can connect to your wireless device. Coincidentally, this will allow you to see who is calling/texting you, while your cell is still in your pocket.

All in all, this is a great step forward in skiing technology, and these babies will have a price tag of $450. If your an avid snowboarder/skiier, these may be a must for you. As for everyone else, you may be able to pass on these.
