Review of the Dell S2209W 21.5" Display

I have had the Dell 2209W 21.5" Display for about a month now. I bought this display from Best-Buy for just a little under $250. I have noticed a lot of differences from my older monitor that I had owned. There aremany pro's and con's of this monitor. Read below:

Pros:

This display has been great so far.

  • Very clear and crisp 21.5" HD Widescreen
  • The brightness is excellent and is almost brighter than my Macbook Pro's display
  • The price is reasonable compared to Apple's monitors
  • Able to adjust the screen brightness and contrast
  • Works flawlessly with my Mac
  • The screen has a matte finish
  • Build quality is excellent

Cons:

After using this monitor for a month, I have spotted a few flaws as well.

  • Lack of any USB Ports on the monitor itself
  • Height cannot be adjusted which tends to get annoying
  • The display is a tad bit bulky

As you can see, there are many pro's and few cons. I would definitely recommend this product looking for a good monitor with a reasonable price. Like I said, this is available at Best Buy and the Dell website. If I were to rate this monitor on a scale of 1 to 10, it would get an 8.

Thanks for reading!

I have the same display. It is a great display for a really good price. the only cons i have about it is that i want it to be glossy just like my macbook (white) cause im used to glossy screens, and my other con is that it has no usb or hdmi ports and no speakers can plug in
