Did Google Earth Find Atlantis?

For so long, people have been looking for the lost city of Atlantis which completely sank into the ocean long ago. There have been many hypothesis of the location of the lost city of Atlantis. Well today a new hypothesis is made of what may be the lost city of Atlantis. This was discovered from a guy in the UK who has playing around with the new Google Earth 5.0, he discovered something strange off the coast of Africa that looked like a series of grids.

For what you can tell on the picture, it looks like a grid. The grids made indicate the streets, or roads of the city. You can automatically tell that it is completely underwater, so you can automatically assume that it could be the Atlantis.

This here is located off the coast of Africa, about 600 west of the
Canary IslandsIf you have Google Earth downloaded, here are the coordinates, 31 15'15.53N, 24 15'30.53W

This internet rumor has been going around for a while now. The company Google denies any similarities to do with Atlantis. However, some people think that Google is trying to hide something about this. To find out if it's really Atlantis, people are going to have to go to the given location and see if it's true.

So, do you think that it's the lost city of Atlantis? Please post your comment to this blog giving your opinions.
