Add a Web interface to Windows Media Center: WebGuide
Earlier this week, I came across WebGuide, which is a great program for Windows Media Center. I was originally looking for a way to set TV recordings remotely, since currently I am using my parents computer for recording, and then streaming it over the network to my laptop.
With WebGuide, the computer acts as a web server, so that from a web browser anywhere you can set recordings, stream music or videos from your Media center library, and you can even stream live TV.
Overall I really like WebGuide. It is extremely useful when i don't feel like using my parents computer to set recordings. It is a must for anyone who uses Media Center for TV recording. WebGuide is available for both XP Media Center Edition and Vista at http://www.asciiexpress.com/webguide/.
