Safari 4 Beat Review

Well after a couple of days trying out Apple's new instalment of Safari I am here to give my review of it.

First off Safari is incredibly fast. It beats out Firefox and Google Chrome. But that does not save the broswer. Apple went with a different tab interface that is very similar to Chrome. It takes some time to get used to it, only about a hour or so. The major problem with its tab interface is that it takes some time to switch from tabs. It is very annoying and it really bugged me. I am sure it will be fixed after it comes out of beta.

The new most visited page is breathtaking. Apple has really kind of copied Chrome but they have added their own twist. I think most browsers will pick up on this. I have found some bugs though. When I went to check my email it would not let me open my inbox, so i had to switch back to Firefox.

I haven't found any major bugs or media problems with it, which is very good. I would really like to see some applications added because I will always love add ons from Firefox. I always choose Firefox just cause of the customizable interface.

Overall Safari 4 doesn't beat out the other broswers but is a major step in the right direction for Apple.
