Kindle iPhone App & Thoughts

Today, I'm going to talk a little about the Kindle and Amazon's timing. If you haven't heard already, the world's number 1 online retailer released an iPhone app literally days after the Kindle 2 came out. In my opinion, this is not necessarily a financially smart decision, but I think it emphasizes on what Amazon is selling. They are selling books, not gadgets. Amazon originally started as somewhat of an online bookstore, and the Kindle books are going back to the roots of the company that makes the very popular e-book.
