Where Is Technology Going?

I often ask myself that very question. We are always seeing things nowadays that have touch screen technology, multi-touch technology, voice recognition and VOIP, and many other really cool concepts. It is amazing how people have figured out how to do these things but I don't (and probably never will) understand how they came to be. What will we see in the next year? Decade? Century? It is truly amazing what we have discovered thus far but can we handle more? Are we leading ourselves to building robots that will live life for us? Or maybe there will be chips that the government inserts in our heads so we always have a computer in our mind to use. Sadly, we will not know these answers for quite some time. Some of us may develop self driving cars that go anywhere you program it to, and some of us might develop a cure for cancer. As many people are starting to realize, technology is taking over the world. Now, whether that is a bad thing or not, it is up to you. Just remember not to let technology be your life and stop you from achieving goals and learning life lessons. Anyway, just pondering my thoughts. Thanks for reading!
