Leaf Trombone: World Stage App OUT!

What is Leaf Trombone you ask? If you don't know then you have been watching microsoft's rubbish ad's waaay to much!

This is, of course, the app with the strange name that we sawat the Apple's iPhone 3.0 demo. It featuresa Chinese leaf-type instrumentthat sounds....you guessed it, like a trombone! But the World Stage part is the most interesting. Smule has set up a way to share the songs you play in the app with people around the world, and the people who hear your work can send back short messages and emotes to say how they felt. It's an interesting idea. It kind of combines what theywere trying to do with Zephyrinto a more Ocarina-like app, thereby making an app called Leaf Trombone: World Stage!

How to Play:

Playing Leaf Trombone is easy! All you have to do is blow into your iPhone's microphone (or, in Touch mode, simply touch the screen) and press down on the leaf to play a note. If you slide your finger towards you, you'll hear the pitch get higher, just like a real trombone!

The pegs just to the left of the leaf show you the notes in a major scale, just for reference.

Below i play a song called Viva La Vida by Coldplay on the Leaf Trombone: World Stage iPhone App!
