Review of Bose sound station seriesII

Today I purchased a Bose sound station 2 part of my birthday present to myself (the other is a new motorbike) I have the iPhone 3G had it since it first came out. I have been using a set of JBL creature 2's to play my music through since my old cheap iPod dock didn't work with my iPhone it played the music but did not charge it so i Sat it in the apple iPhone 3G dock until today when i got the new dock the first think you notice when you open the box there is a message from Bose saying about the companies philosophy and how it reinvests it's profit in it's self. Then I pulled there are both uk and european cable in the box then the dock and remote the speaker system is large and black with a grey grill covering the 4 small speakers in conceals. The remote has 8 simple buttons play/pause, off, volume up and down, playlist swap up and down, and next and previous track slim black plastic and grey rubber face. There are 2 ports on the back one for the DC in port and one for a line in for use with any external device such as a laptop or and mp3 player. I plugged the system up and placed my iPhone 3G on the iPod connector picked out a song with a bit of everything lots of bass and little at other points. Turned the volume right down then slowly working up one by one by volume 3 there was a good amount of sound coming out to sit and hat with just music in the background. When I hit volume 20 my concrete floor was shaking with the bass but the sound quality was great I then doubled it still amazing sound however I was being hit by sound and could feel it so I went upstairs in my house and could still hear every note in the song. Still had great sound then my neighbour came and complained about the noise so I turned it town. Later in the evening I was sitting in my bedroom my father called me I just hit the answer key on the phone and chatted away from the other end of the room we could hear every word each other said to one another. 

Overall I think this is the best made for iPod or iPhone device that I have ever heard and the B&W Zeplin took some beating!
