Apple announces WWDC June 8th- June 12th
Apple recently announced that the World Wide Developers Conference will be held in San Francisco from June 8th-12th. They say some of the things they will be announcing are the iPhone 3.0 software update and re-design of the iPhone. Apple also publicized the announcement of Snow Leopard (Mac OS 10.6.0) at WWDC. There have been rumors going around saying they will lower the price of the new MacBook's to $1,199 instead of $1,299 (US currency). Because Steve Jobs is sick, he will unfortunately not be announcing those items himself but it is believed that Philip Schiller (senior vice president of worldwide product marketing) will be doing it this year just like in January.
As of April 30th, Apple has announced that WWDC has been sold out. Just like last year it sold out pretty quickly, and thats a great sign were going to see a lot of cool new things from apple.

Great post! It really helped me understand what exactly they were going to announce. I'm really exited for the announcement of snow leopard.
this news was released a while ago... but great post. can't wait to see what Apple unveils!
I know it was.....I didn't really have the time lately (due to finals) so when i did, i posted it!
I wish i could have bought a ticket, but they were so dang expensive! Cant wait to see what will be announced. The part I'm most exited for is the 100$ price drop in the MacBook. I was planning on getting one this June before the summer.
