Apple boosts up specs in white MacBook
Recently, Apple has boosted up the specs of the white MacBook. They now come standard with a 2.13 Ghz processor and an 160 GB hard drive where as they used to have a 2.0 GHz processor and only an 120 GB hard drive. Now the only difference between the specs of the 2 MacBook's are that the white one has 2 GB of DDR2 memory and the aluminum one has 2 Gb of DDR3 memory; other than the fact that one is white and one is the aluminum unibody, they are exactly the same. What's weird is the white MacBook has a .13 better processor. What could this mean?
My thoughts? They might upgrade the aluminum MacBook, but on June 8th during WWDC, as oppose to just quietly upgrading it on their web site.
What are the going to upgrade? Only time will tell!
Update- Apple has now updated their entire MacBook webpage to the white MacBook, in design, features, graphics, Mac OS X + iLife, enviorment and tech specs....it all revolves around the new white MacBook. If your a new comsumer looking to buy a MacBook, you would think the aluminum one is the older one! You would never know the aluminum one even exsted until you go to "buy now" and even then your focussed on the white one. I guess Apple wants more people to switch over to Mac, either with the new white MacBooks or the Mac Mini. I don't understand why they don't advertise both in the descriptions. I hope this leads to great new things in the aluminum MacBook because I, myself was anxious to get a MacBook and decided on the aluminum one....now, I think the white one may be just as good, if not better!
My new thoughts? I am 100% positive that Apple will update their aluminum MacBooks during WWDC.
Why? because when one thing is updated, so is another.
