LG releases official shots of the LG BL40 or "New Chocolate".
As more of the story of the LG BL40 plays out, and unfolds there are still many questions as what it is. Today it is learned that it is a new series and a part of LG's "Black label series". These pictures also show part of the user interface.
These photos show the user interface of what LG is touting as the "New Chocolate". Now the user interface looks very much like the interface on the LG GD900, but instead with square icons. LG is saying that the New Chocolate will be a new black label series. Which could mean LG may end the Chocolate series, in favor of the New Chocolate. Now it seems like a step in the right direction, more people are getting smart phones. People don't want dumb phones, so if LG is changing their strategy to compete with Apple, HTC, Samsung, and others, the LG BL40 is a step in the right direction. As of now, LG has not said when the LG BL40 will be available for purchase or pre-order.
