15" Macbook Pro First Impressions

One of the first things you notice with the new Macbook Pro is that it does not feel like its going to snap in half when you pick up the machine. This is because of the nice aluminum unibody design. Something thats also is eye appealing when you first look at the Macbook Pro is the very bright LED backlight display. The Display is really a help for people that are big into photo editing because the brightness makes the colors pop. Speaking of brightness the backlight keyboard really comes in handy in dark conditions and also becomes quite bright which is a good thing. Expose and hiding all your windows are also a breeze with the new Macbook Pro with the multi jester track pad. The battery in this computer is very good! it mostly does not get the 7 hours that apple says it would but it does get around 5 which is very good for a portable computer. When apple says 7 hours they are not doing anything on the computer so the battery does last longer when your just web surfing rather then doing video editing (your battery will not last as long). I have also found the newly added SD card slot to come in handy. It allows you to transfer photos, video, ect. a lot faster then if you use a usb cable. Overall my first impressions of the Macbook Pro have been excellent and so far i highly recommend you getting one.

My Macbook Pros stats:

15” 2.53 ghz

250gb hdd

4gb ram

nvidia geforce 9400m graphics card.
