What's In Comic Life?

Imagine all your pictures where to have a comic theme to them! Well, that's what Comic Life does. It takes your holiday, friend or anything and it makes it into a comic. Comic Life basically makes you look like a super hero. It adds all the effects that you would find in a comic book and it makes it look really amazing. Now, at this point in time you're probably asking, "that MUST cost something I mean come on" and you'd be right. It costs just around $24.95 for the standard and $29.95 for the deluxe. Trust me, if you're a graphic designer or your just wanting something to stop you from boredom, then this app is for you. Here are a few things I would like to touch on so them you know what this product is..

Comic Life... well presumably it's just basically for comic makers, right?

Well, not really. You don't just have to be a comic maker. Like I said, Comic Life is for anyone really who wants to make their pictures come to life. It kinda does what shoe polish does to shoes: it makes a big difference. It can edit your photos as well as make them look like a comic. You only really need to look at the tools available and see what I mean!

Interface

The interface as far as I know is great. It looks amazing, and it's actually really easy to use. Any pictures that you have on your hard drive it automatically picks up so then you don't need to import them. It also lets you edit the photo straight away. You can also drag and drop into the application as well. The main part that I like about the interface though is that its really clean and sheik, plasq really did do a good job with the styling in this one.

Demo

If you don't want to pay for the application and you think that I might not need it in the near future and just want to try it, or might think you will need it in the future then there is a 30 day demo that you can download from the site that comes with all the things you get in the actual application.

Will it work in Mac OS X Snow Leopard?

Unfortunately, it does not yet come with support, but they are doing a version for Snow Leopard that should be out in October this year.

What is the difference between the standard and deluxe?

Well there are some minor differences, like for example there is 7 different fonts in the standard version where as in the deluxe you get 40. same really with the styles and the templates, in the standard edition you get 72 but in the the deluxe you get 332 templates. You get 78 styles in the standard but in the deluxe you get 180, So there is a minor difference between the two but in my experience the deluxe is for more advanced users than average.

Will I be able to share my pics in comic form to my friends online?

Yes you can, if your friends have a flickr account then they can see all your comic-ized pictures that you have created within Comic Life.

And Finally.....

Its a great app, there are some add ons that you can get for Comic Life (e.g Comic Life Magiq, Which I will review in another post). I don't really find any floors in this app, it is wonderful and it what's better yet you can get it pre installed on your Mac if you just ask Apple at your local Apple Store or online!.

A Truly Amazing Beautiful Product (I just used beautiful to describe a application, eek!) I Give it 10/10
