Bodega- The Mac App Store

The iPhone and iPod Touch have the Apple App Store, but why can't the Mac have one? Well this may be the response- Bodega. In this video below, I will give you a look at the application and what it does.

I don't think a "Mac App Store" is necessary. The reason the App stores exists is because it's the only way to install third party applications on the iPhone or iPod Touch (jailbreaking excluded). There's no restrictions on us installing regular OS X apps on our Macs we can go out and download/install whatever we want. As far is a "Mac App Store" giving us access to software we might not know exists, well, Apple would be regulating what software is allowed to be in the "Mac App Store". No thanks.

And in the case Bodega (a non Apple run app store) it is a pretty neat idea, but I'll stick with google searching and sourceforge.
