Peace offerings from the PC Community
Let's face it, most of us live in either a PC or Mac community. Both have their strengths and weaknesses. Recently I have noticed the animosity between the two communities and I feel compelled to bring peace offerings. I am 35 so I grew up with computers and literally watched their transformations before my eyes. I remember a world and time where the names Apple, IBM, Commodore, and Atari lived harmoniously. All of course were different brands of computers and all had their unique abilities and strengths. Back then people weren't separated so much as things have become now. We were simply happy to be a part of a revolution in home computing. I myself and currently a PC user and I believe currently it is the best platform for my current needs. I think we all need to start thinking in terms of what platform best serves our current needs.
I happen to think that Mac's are great and am considering a Mac purchase in the near future. Perhaps at some point a Mac will better serve my needs and then some. I do not think in terms of one is better than the other. Mac users are some very awesome people and I like their brand and platform loyalty. Let's admit it PC users, the Mac is a pretty thing to behold!
There are also some very nice PC users. I want to call here for an end to the immature animosity between PC and Mac users. It's neither nice or productive. All things said and considered here I think it's high time both Mac and PC people came together and looked towards the future. Let's look less at what separates us and more at what unites us. Let's look at creative and innovative ways that we both can come together and work for the greater good of technology, graphic arts, and the internet.
There are great people in both communities and I believe that great things can be achieved by both coming together. I chose to be a peace maker and lover and I think you should too whether you are a PC or Mac user. So with that said lets get back to happy computing and ask yourself whether you want to argue the rest of your lives or do you want to do as Steve Jobs would suggest and change the world?

I have to say...I must agree with you. A lot of people who fight about which computers are better are very immature and I really appreciated your post. I used PCs for 13 years and switched to a MacBook Pro 4 months ago, and im in love <3.
