Kodak Sues Apple and RIM over iPhone and BlackBerry

Today, Kodak has filed a complaint with the ITC against Apple and Research in Motion alleging that both the iPhone and the BlackBerry use technology for previewing pictures that infringe Kodak patents. In addition, Kodak filed two more separate complaints this time attacking only Apple, claiming that the latter has infringed "certain patents" regarding digital cameras and certain computer processes in the iPhone, as well as it's exceptionally effective photo managing interface. Kodak has already defeated Samsung in court in a similar case, as well as is relating the current incidents with the Nokia vs. Apple case.

So what do you guys think? Is this another cheap shot at Apple, ending with a fail just like most times? Or is it, for once, a genuine accusation against them. Leave your thoughts.

Indeed, I have found this article genuinely intriguing. It has aroused my thoughts towards Kodak and Apple. I whole-heartedly approve of this, and support this article in a henceforth attempt to increase its overall popularity. Excellent penmanship my dear chap!

In my opinion, today companies sue of anything. But, I guess that is how you make money sometimes.

I think that Kodak is just trying to get an extra buck from Apple. Apple will probably win.

Apple will most likely win this one.

Eh? What's going on? I think someone has hacked TheCreativeOne's account. Either that, or all along, you've been a secret Kodak fanboy.

No, that @TheCreativeOne in these comments is an impersonator:

1) David always signs his comments by "David"
2) It's "thecreativeone" not "TheCreativeOne"
3) David doesn't usually make spelling/typing mistakes.
