MacBook Pro Vs. iMac

As I recently got the new iMac I decided to do a comparison of the boot up time between the iMac and my previous machine a MacBook Pro. As we all probably know the iMac is most likely going to win, but I still thought that this would be an interesting video to show between the new late 2009 27" iMac and a late 2008 15" MacBook Pro. Thanks for reading and watching.

( I list all the specs of the machines and more details in the actual video )

I have the iMac and I love it. But I still would like to have something a little more portable. I mean, TheBlueHour called his iMac portable but, he doesn't have a 27" iMac to move around. So a Macbook Pro would be really nice if I could redo it.

I had a 17-inch MacBook Pro (Antiglare) for about six months and when the 27-inch iMacs came out, I decided that I'd rather go with a desktop again (after several years of owning a couple of MacBook Pros). So, I found someone to sell it to and ordered my 27-inch last week.

I was torn between the dual and quad core models, money was a factor, so I could get a entry-level quad or a maxed out dual. I ended up going with the dual, upgrading it to 3.33GHz, 8GB RAM, and 512 VRAM. Also added AppleCare. Awesome value.

Its molstly due to the fact that the macbook pro is also running a slower harddrive.
