Wacom Bamboo Pen Tablet

Today I wanted to talk about a device called the “Wacom Bamboo Pen Tablet.” In no means will this be a great or in depth review, but I’ll try my best. Now let’s get into the review.

I recieved the Wacom Tablet on Christmas Day as a gift from my parents. I personally favored the pen only version, because i heard of many problems people had with the pen and touch version. At first, I was very impressed with the packaging. It looked very nice and was made out of quality material. It didn’t feel cheap at all. In the box you get everthing you need to get started. So don’t worry about having to buy any cables or software, because it comes with both. Upon first holding the tablet, it felt very sturdy and not like it was made of flimsy plastic.

The pen included the tablet feels nice in your hands (or at least in mine) and has two buttons stationed on a single rocker on the the side. When you first touch the pen to the actual tablet you’ll notice that it feels very good. Almost like your righting on real paper. Included with the entire “package” is a piece of software called, “Corel Painters Essestials 4.0.” Although it’s a great piece of software with many features such as tons of brushes, effects, and options, I personally still choose to use Photoshop. People into drawing or painting would think otherwise, but I’m more into graphic design. Otherwise, it’s a great piece of software that I enjoy playing around with. One other thing to note about the tablet itself is it’s pressure sensitivies. They happened to be pretty good when checking them out in Photoshop.

So I think that’s it for the review and the Bamboo Wacom Pen Tablet. I have had some very positive vibes here and have had no negative comments or problems yet that pertain to the device. If you have any questions, feel free to email me. Thanks for reading,

Chris Self
