The Apple Tablet has been the big talk around Apple for quite some time now, people thought it would come last year, some people thought it would never come at all.

Well, Steve Jobs did announce this Apple Tablet today January 27th 2010, named the ‘iPad’(There are lots of pictures at the bottom of the post). This device is very sleek and the specs  are: .5 inches thin, 1.5 pounds — 9.7 inch IPS display, Available in 16GB, 32, 64, Bluetooth 2.1 + EDR, Full capacitive multi-touch, accelerometer, compass, speaker, microphone, and it has over a month of standby timeAnd it has over a month of standby time.

The iPad has a price tag of $499 for 16GB of iPad. That’s our base model. 32GB is $599, 64GB is $799. 3G models cost an extra $130. $629, 729, and 829 with 3G and an unlimited data plan for $29.99 a month on no contract, it is prepaid. These will be shipping out in 60 days. 3G models will ship in 90 days.

With this device, you can do everything you could do on the iPhone 3GS, maps, iTunes, Youtube, Safari, everything! The iPad will run the same apps as the iPhone and iPod Touch but just with a bigger screen and different controls. The only upsetting part is that there is still no flash on this device, which means that you most likely will not be able to run some programs or torrents.

The menu’s pop down from the top by dragging your finger, which is quite nifty. The e-mail and typing in itself is very responsive and looks absolutely fantastic!
