MacBook Accessories?
I recieved a MacBook white unibody for Christmas along with some money. I am interested in buying some accessories for my new MacBook, but this is my first Mac and I don't know what I will need in the future. Please comment below with any recommendations. I will have many unboxings and reviews of my new MacBook accessories.

Cool, Emma you got your Mac :D, I would recommend a Logitech MX revolution or Performance and the Apple Keyboard
i would say a griffin elevator stand if you plan to use the notebook at home a lot on a desk because it allows more airflow under the macbook rather then being flat and on desk
also maybe a slip cover by incase so that you macbook wont get scratched up when traveling with it
Thanks guys :) Yeh lucas i finally got my mac! so happy! and i also just got accepted to writing here which is great. Im loving it :) Check out my iKlear Review. I think im gonna go with apple keyboard and griffin elevator stand :) Thanks alot :) emma
I recommend the Apple Remote! It's around $20 and I use mine daily. You can use it when using iTunes to switch through songs, adjust the volume on your mac, and when watching movies or shows on hulu or on dvd it acts as a regular remote. Very nice, simple, and cheap.
i would love it but my mac doesnt have a infrarred sensor :( can i buy an infrarred usb reciever as i would love to use the remote??
It doesn't have an infrared receiver?? is this one of the new ones?? or like back in the 1800's?
no its the white unibody macbook *late 2009. i know its crap
Of course it has the sensor! lol the greyish small line on the bottom right hand side of your MacBook (where the sleep/wake light is) is where the sensor is! I have the 13" MacBook Pro and when I heard about the new white MacBooks......I noticed they are identical. Thats where my sensor is as well. BTW its not crap at all! That white MacBook exceeds the capability of any PC by at least 5 years. You have a great Mac on your hands, just because its not aluminum like everything else in our days is with Apple, its still an amazing not normally cool computer. Enjoy your first experiences with it!
O no it doesnt have a sensor they took it out so it was cheaper. i didnt mean the whole thing was crap i am soooooo gratful for it and couldnt ask for a better computer :)
I agree with Sally and Im 100% sure that the gray line is the sensor. You should try asking Apple by either calling them or clicking on chat in the store on their web site. Trust me, Apple isn't that stupid, and while you may believe that there is no sensor, your new to a Mac and sound like you don't know exactly how Apple works. Also, the sensor, isn't something they would remove to make it "cheaper". Trust me, send them a call and respond if they say you have it.
