Apple iPad with 2 Dock Connectors? And a Smaller Screen?

I was on Engadget and I found an article about the iPad. Pictures have shown the iPad with another dock connector for landscape mode. I personally think that would be a good hardware feature that would be great for viewing movies, pictures, TV shows, and just browsing the web.

I also was on MacRumors and saw an article showing the iPad with a smaller 7" display. I'm not sure if this would be a good change or a bad one. I think if it's a 7" display then it would be closer to the iPod touch; closer than it already is, anyway. It could be better for traveling if you're packing light. Overall I don't think it's an unnecessary change. The price point may be around $300.
