New Windows 7 ad criticizes Apple's lack of Blu-ray support on Mac

Alright so the commercial is a cheap looking production, that alone irritates me no matter the company, and it shows a MacBook and a Windows laptop on an airplane. Then the Windows brings out the blu-ray integration crap. That's what it is crap, and their another adjective too. The windows laptop then plays the video and the Mac watches while eating and drinking ginger ale. This is more a rant on why Blu-Ray does not belong in a mac. First off we have iTunes, with a disc, if you want that movie, that media, on to another device you will have to convert and rip tons spending tons of time. Whereas on the Mac you simply fire up iTunes and get your movies integrated almost instantly with other devices. Now iTunes is also on the PC, but a PC fanboy would contradict your media statement by saying it's a better way of storage than DVD. The response, who the hell uses DVD's? If you are not on an online or hard drive based back up, then there are a few problems. Blu-Ray may be extinct in 5-7 years, then how do you get that media? If you are going to be making Blu-Ray movies, such as professional video production, one, you'll be on the Mac, and Two, you'll be one of the many Mac users that would use that feature to it's fullest extent.

If you understand that, great you can see why Blu-Ray isn't really a feature to be bragging about because there are plenty of problems with windows beside disc management.

Let me know your thoughts and remember this is not am ignition to a flame war, simply a statement that everything is moving to download, and iTunes has the numbers to prove it.
