Channel 4 & ITV Coming to the PS3 in the UK
Alas! After us Brits have been waiting for months, Sony and ITV/Channel4 have now announced, that coming this week, PS3 users will be able to use the very popular 4OD/ITV Player On-Demand services, on their PS3s. BBC has had there iPlayer on the PS3 for quite some time now, so it was only natural that their biggest competitors would also bring their VOD services to the console.
So this means you'll be able to watch your favorite shows like The Inbetweeners and Coronation Street on your PS3, however there is no word on what day of this week it'll be coming out, and that, through what form. My guess is, is that you'll be able to download a PS3 Software Update that'll put an ITV Player and 4OD icons under the TV section of the XMB, next to iPlayer.
I'm certainly stoked about this announcement, but for more info, check out The Guardian's post on it here.

It's here! Just turn on your PS3 and the two new icons labelled 4oD & ITV Player should be there. Kudos to Sony for not making us do a Software update for them!
