Review: Flip Ultra HD

The Flip Ultra HD is probably one of the most widely used camcorders on the internet. Drawing most if it attention from it's extremely decent price and it's HD video quality (720p 30fps), the Flip Ultra HD comes in at a price point of $129.00 and comes in a white or black color option. This camera includes many decent features in its pocket sized enclosure but excludes one very big feature for most of us on YouTube and thats the ability to auto focus. The camera will come with some manuels in which explain more about the camera, and warenty information. It will also come with the charging cable and two double a (AA) batteries in which the camera will need to run. There is also an option for a Flip rechargeable battery. This camera does NOT take photos.

In general, this camera is fairly decent for everyday use. For most of us this will not be a recommended camera because of its inability to auto focus. For those who try to get up-close macro shots of items, trying to get that photographer-like image, this will not be a camera for you. Interested in vlogging? This might just be the camera for you. In conclusion, you make the decision.

You can get photos by using the FlipShare software or using almost any program to take a freeze frame. I myself have been using this camera for as long as I have been on YouTube, yet I have to switch due to the focus.
