Tutorial: Basic Motion Tracking in After Effects CS5
Recently I have gotten many questions on how to do various things in Adobe After Effects CS5, so I decided to have a go at creating a tutorial on some basic motion tracking using After Effects.
"Motion tracking" is the term that is used when someone is required to track a group of pixels in a movie from frame to frame, often in order to place a CG object into the footage such as text or even 3D models and elements. Here is a basic "Motion Tracking" tutorial that will demonstrate how to do some basic 2D motion tracking using Adobe After Effects.
