Let's Talk About the iPad

January 27, 2010 Steve Jobs announced the iPad. The iPad will be in its own category. It will be less powerful than a MacBook but more powerful than a iPhone or a iPod touch. You will be able you use all the apps you use on your iPhone on the iPad. Apple is releasing a SDK so you can make apps that will be exclusively for the iPad. It will also have an E-book store on it so you can buy books and take them everywhere with you on a small device. There will be two different models: there will be a Wi-Fi only model and a Wi-Fi and a 3G model which will be through AT&T's 3G towers. The data plan will be $29.99 a month, but you sign no contract which is great. I only have to pay when I need it.

Here are some of the specifications: it will be 9.56 inches tall, 7.47 inches wide, 0.5 inches thick, and weigh 1.5 pounds and the 3G model will weigh 1.6 pounds. It will have a 9.7 inch LED backlit glossy widescreen multitouch screen, 1024-by-768 pixel resolution. It will have a 1 GHz A4 custom processor; you can get it in 16 GB, 32 GB, and 64 GB flash drive. It will have a accelerometer and a 10 hour battery life. Now for the pricing (Wi-Fi only: 16 GB $499, 32 GB $599, and 64 GB $699) now (Wi-Fi and 3G only: 16 GB $629, 32 GB $729)

Seriously? You think the people on this website don't know this already from the other 50 posts and the fact that 90% of them (including myself) watched the keynote? You really have to come up with a post that people will actually read because to be quite honest, no one is going to read this because they know everything about the iPad. Not to mention that anybody can go to Apple.com and see this for them selves. Stupid move, next time, maybe you should write something people think is news and not something they know about already.

Well I am sorry you feel that way. What would you like to see me write about? I am new to the site. Thanks for your comments

He is new to the site, give him a break. I thought it was a very good blog, sort of a refresher. Keep up the good work, but next time read the previous blog topics before you post one.
