At the moment, I don't think that a touch screen iMac would be something that would interest me. I can see having a 13" Touch screen Macbook but 22", how would you use it. It's not portable. I don't see why or how people could use it, and I know that Apple would have a keyboard and mouse but, then what's the point in a touch screen? It would be just something cool to show off. Yes, it would be nice to have. But a 22" touch screen would be hard to use. But I guess that's just me.
No, Apple would never release something just because people want them to, or because it MIGHT be cool. Understand that Apple wants simplicity and refinement, and, if they do release it, it won't be like anything you expected.

Apple would NEVER release this product. It's way to risky of a market.
