iPhone Opera Mini now awaiting Apple’s approval stamp
Opera has finally finished work on Opera Mini 5 for the iPhone following our earlier article a while back that it would be 5x faster than the current Safari browser. At this very moment the browser is going through Apple’s cruel approval process and fingers crossed should be accepted as it does follow the guidelines..
Apart from the one rule that say’s developers shouldn’t create applications that duplicate iPhone core functionality, even though Apple have already accepted a few web-kit browsers so far, they may not be so lenient on the big rival Opera.
Opera have also posted a “count up” on their website where you can follow how long it is taking for Apple to approve or reject the application. Is this just a sneaky publicity stunt to add more pressure on Apple to accept?
