Review: Sony Ericsson T280i

The Sony Ericsson T280i.

Sony sent this phone out to me just over a month ago. I've unboxed it and have been testing it for the last couple of weeks. I can say it is nice to be away from Samsungs weird! hardware. Its nice to have some buttons to press unlike the Tocco Lite.

Hardware on this phone is extremely limited to be kind. There is no volume rockers which greatly disappointed me. I'm not a person who listens to much on their phone.( Buy an iPod people! or iPhone) but i can say that i would be nice to turn up the volume from time to time in loud situations. Calls aren't so pleasant when you have one finger in your ear and the other holding the phone hard to your head.

Speakers ain't everything though! You need a keypad these day. We do alot more texting our loved ones or friends than calling. Well i do. (its cheaper). I can gladly say that the keypad is perfect. It has full size rectangle buttons for every key. This allows you to type efficiently and limits your spelling mistakes.  One thing i would like to mention though is how LOUD the keypad is. Texting at night when the family is asleep is a risky job enough so this phone has to stay under a pillow or inside a vacuum for no noise pollution.

The software on this phone is very minamilistic their are no downloadible apps or anything like that it has the old Sony Ericsson software and is simple to navigate your way though unlike your posh business phones.

That's all. I've summed it up in all that and my video bellow covers some more. Over all its the perfect phone for somebody who is starting off and just likes to text and do little calls.

Thanks Kieran
