iPhone 3GS: I'm Crackin' Up

I have been through 3 iPhones since I bought mine about 8 months ago. I am sure many of you have seen articles of cracked iPhones early in the 3GS release. This problem has been plaguing me for a while now and I am really starting to get frustrated. Apple has been more than understanding about giving me replacement (refurbished) phones because of the cracks, and I am really thankful for that. I am just frustrated because every time Apple sends me a refurb unit, the quality of the devices gets worse. I have attached a couple of pictures of my issues. Does anyone else have the same problems with their white iPhones? Shall I ask for another replacement or just call it bad luck?

Thanks

Kyle (NomadMTB)

My iPhone 3GS has a few very small cracks. They bothered me at first, but I rarely notice them. Yours seem to be more noticeable though.

Ive got one quite long one on my 3G going from the dock connector to just under all the writing at the back... Thing is, i haven't dropped my phone on anything other than carpet!

I had a problem with my Original 3GS where it thought there were headphones always plugged in, so no use of the speaker was available. Took it to the local Apple Store and they pointed out cracks by the headphones port which I hadn't noticed. They said the cracks were enough to give me a new (non-refurb, as in out of the factory) iPhone but they said they would replace it because of the headphones problem aswell.

I have the same issue on my white iPhone 3G since January. I've had it just under a year at that stage. It started out small, but after 3 months it now goes from the dock connector to the text on the back of the phone :(

you bought an iphone. They should give you a brand new one or a iphone that looks brand new.
Its not like you bought an iphone off someone and then you sent it to apple to fix it. you deserve whatever is best
