Modern Warfare 2 Drama

Well most of us geeks have been making love with the iPad and while that was going on, more drama has been brought to light with Infinity Ward and Activision. To catch some of us up to speed, last month Activsion fired the main "brains" at Infinity Ward, Jason West and Vince Zampella, were both kicked out of Infinity Ward for "breach of contract" meaning they broke their contract with Activision for talking to other gaming industries rumored to be Electronic Arts. Now it's not known what they were planning but we could only imagine Infinity Ward wanting to take the "Modern Warfare" story and leave Activsion and go to EA. Well they were caught and fired. Now Jason and Vince are suing Activision for $36 Million for not paying them all the money they made for Activision in short.Back to recent news so a month later after Vince and Jason left two more big brains over at Infinity Ward have walked off the job, Head Multiplayer Designer Todd Alderman and Lead Software Engineer Francesco Gigliotti. This matters why? Well both have been at Infinity Ward since the first Call of Duty on the PC (roughly 7-8 years). They were a big help in making the Modern Warfare story and online process. They haven't said anything public yet but according to the contract since they were "willing" and did this on their own they can't join Jason and Vince in the lawsuit againts Activision. You may ask this matters why? Well slowly Infinity Ward is decreasing in members and looks like Activision is sitting back laughing and messing up the Modern Warfare series like they did with Call of Duty. It's sad to see a studio fall to the ground thanks to a guy (Bobby Kotick) that cares nothing about the gaming community. Well in short it looks like a Modern Warfare 3 is slowly and slowly going down the drain. In my opinion, slowly members will leave Infinity Ward and try to make a new studio. Who knows.
