Is Xbox LIVE Worth Paying For?
I've been using Xbox LIVE for a good 5-6 months now. I must say, I love it. When I got my Xbox 360 Elite for Christmas in 2009, the first thing I did was unbox it and hook it up to LIVE. I love using LIVE to connect with friends and play online. Playing online is pretty fun because you get something other than the regular computer difficulties. You usually get people around your skill level, which in my mind, is pretty fun.
The thing that gives LIVE a bad image is of course, the little kids and noobs who constantly yell and cuss, which can make some games unpleasant. On LIVE I never cuss or even have my mic plugged in unless I'm in a party or private chat with friends. Yes, I've also taken some crap on LIVE... But I remember a famous quote by the great old Indian leader, Ghandi: "An eye for an eye makes the whole world blind." In modern terms, if someone gives you crap, don't give it back.
But other than that, I love Xbox LIVE. I love all the game trailers, demos, videos, connecting with friends, and of course, a good game of Modern Warfare 2.

Xbox live is amazing. I use to spend hours playing COD4 with all my old friends. Then I kinda stopped playin cause I got bored with COD4. Then I got into COD MW2 and absolutely loved it but I was spending to much time on it so I let my time run out and I'm gonna enjoy this summer. lol sorry for the story but I would also recommend it to anyone but be careful it can get addicting.
Sure, it's great for online but Sony gives you all the basics for free. It may not be as polished sure but I can still play games online & it costs me nothing. :) I still get all the free demos, voice chat, etc too.
