Google TV Announced

Here are my thoughts on Google TV, a software platform that Google announced at their media event yesterday. 

"Search" looks interesting but most people view television content very freely, meaning they don't want to search for something; they just want to watch it. Partners that were announced are extremely interesting. However I don't think that's going to cut it. It's going to be like Android distribution, meaning Google will create the software and hardware partners will make the hardware, which seen is very effective.
