Creating an Avatar with Photoshop... My Results

Hello everyone.  I am sure most of you have seen the movie Avatar.  People seem to fall on either end of the extreme when it comes to enjoying the movie or not, but that is for another discussion.  Many people have created an Avatar of themselves with Photoshop; there are many good tutorials available online to guide you.  I gave it a try and I just wanted to share my results with you.

When I created this Avatar I used the following tools the most...

1. Dodge/Burn

2. Liquify

3. Transform

4. Patch

To achieve the skin color I used the 'color' layer mode.  This was a very fun project that took me about 3 hours to complete.  I highly recommend trying this.
