Motorola Shadow leaked
The Droid is a very successful phone, bringing the power of Android with a nice, thin form factor. Though a successor could be coming soon to Verizon, among other carries. The Motorola Shadow was first leaked as the "Nexus Two", which is supposed to have a full QWERTY keyboard, which was missing from the Nexus One. Though telling from pictures this is not the case, and could be a successor to the current Droid or the Droid tablet.
Pictures and specifications have been found on HowardForums, and so far looks promising. For one, the Shadow follows a new trend of thin devices with a massive screen, as seen on the HTC HD2 and EVO 4G. The screen measures 4.1 inches across, though there is not word if the screen is a AMOLED screen, as screen with a higher resolution and consumes less battery life. There is also a faster TI OMAP 3630 processor with 720MHz speed, versus the current OMAP 3430 550MHz processor found in the current Droid. The camera is also improved with a 8MP camera and flash, along with 8GB of on board storage. There is also an option for HDMI out, which is a feature that was first seen on the HTC EVO 4G. No word yet if this runs the newly announced build of Android Froyo 2.2 or even if it runs Moto Blur. No word on when this will be realeased on Verizon and other international carriers.
