Unboxed: iPod Touch, 3rd Gen, 32GB

From mid January I've been an iPod Touch user, when I bought the iPod I never knew it was a 2nd gen. When I went to install the Gold Masters edition of iOS 4 I selected the version that was for the 3rd Gen, but it didn't work. I then downloaded the version for the 2nd Gen and it did work. I rang Apple and they confirmed that the 8GB was indeed a 2nd Gen, and not a 3rd. So as kind as they are, they offered to swap for a 32GB 3rd Gen if I paid the price difference, which I did.
