Panasonic HS9 Review and Montage

The HS9 from Panasonic is a premium level video camera. It's best suited for home use as it can capture stunning HD footage. Although it carries quite a heavy price tag, it's well worth the money. It comes with a large 60 GB internal hard drive which is enough the capture more than a days action before loading it onto iMovie which works great with it. It has a reasonable battery life of up to 2.5 hours, it also has expandable memory in the form of an SD card slot allowing the hard drive space to be significantly boosted.
Another fantastic feature of this camera is the built in OIS which means that shaky footage is very rare, combined with the image stabiliser within iMovie means that simple home movies can be transferred into works of near Hollywood professionalism. Along with the image stabiliser, it also features a turning screen making it ideal for bloggers as it allows them to see what they're filming, a quality that is lost in cameras like the Flip range. All things considered, the Panasonic HS9 is a camera worth the slight extra cost but it makes up for it in a host of ways.
