Apple to hold news conference this Friday
With growing consumer concern regarding the signal strength issues users have been having with there new iPhone 4′s, Apple will be holding a news conference to hopefully let some light on the reason behind the issues and what they will be doing to sort them out. The press conference will be held at 10am Pacific time (6pm our time) at the company’s headquarters in Cupertino, California.
Apple have come under alot of attack since it was first discovered that the iPhone 4 handset received signal losses when held in a certain position, known to users as the “Death Grip." In response to the criticism, Apple insisted that the signal errors were infact down to a fault in the software that’s been there since the first iPhone rather than the hardware itself.
Despite the iPhone 4′s faults, it has not stopped it from being the fastest selling iPhone so far, with over 1.7 million units having been sold in a matter of weeks. With this many units having been sold, that’s sure a lot to be replaced/repaired by Apple.
So what do you think Apple wish to say at the new conference? Are they going to recall the first batch or offer a method to fix the issues (Bumpers maybe)?
