Give Photos a Vintage Look in Aperture

Aperture is a program for Mac that allows you to refine the look of photos fairly easily. In the tutorial above I explain how to quickly and easily achieve a vintage effect in what ever image you choose. And below I have provided a before and after example.

If you don't have Aperture, this can also be done using a free program called GIMP. You can find a tutorial for that on my channel. A link has been provided below.

Yeah wow, that's brutal. Sorry, not trying to be rude either, don't take it personally, but it looks like something that 12 year old girls do to their photos before they upload it to Facebook.
Sorry, cross processing the colors is almost always a complete no.

Thank you for your opinions and I appreciate them. However, art is art; there are no rules to it. So even if it looks like however you describe it to be, who's to say it cannot be done? And of course you don't have to like it. But I posted it knowing that some people do.

But thats not vintage so you are describing a video that is incorrect. You could say giving your photos a washed feel but not vintage. Vintage means that the photo contains sephia tones which make is look old. Vintage = Old not Vintage = Blue?
