Apple iPhone Stock Photo Without AT&T Label. Can Someone Say Verizon iPhone?
As the photo above shows, Apple decided to not include an AT&T label on their stock photos of the iPhone. This applies to all iPhones on Apple.com. This makes people wonder... Why aren't they on there? Are they testing a CDMA or Verizon version of the iPhone? In addition to this Apple also stated that they have Verizon cell towers on their main campuses. You decide.

The reason why they don't put the carrier is because there are other carriers that have the iphone. Not just At&t, and they have verizon towers on there campus for other uses such as wifi not because they are testing the iphones with them.
@Ron Unfortuantely this is the Apple.com website for the US. As of now the iPhone is only on AT&T in the US. I believe that Apple has different websites for different countries, with different carriers.
@Matt Apple uses that same picture on all their international sites. I do agree with the rest of your post though. Also, I like your website...
This has been like this since the iPhone 3G. And we havn't seen a 3G or 3GS on Verizon have we?
The reason why they do that is because Apple.com is the most visited site out of all them including the sites for individual countries. If you're talking to a friend you'll generally say something like "Go to Apple.com for more info" or something like that so if they just did the AT&T then more people would think that the iPhone is only on AT&T in the States. I live in Canada and we have 4 carriers and a lot of people I know go to Apple.com and see that it only says AT&T and they don't buy one because they're uneducated between the different websites.
Sadly, this doesn't mean the iPhone is going to be in Verizon. The reason why Apple doesn't have the AT&T label is because other carriers around the world use the iPhone, not just AT&T. Apple has not had the AT&T label on their stock photo since they launched the iPhone 3G back in 2008.
There not gona make a bunch of different pictures of different carriers. They use one stock photo for all. so unfortunately you arent right. its been this way since the start of the iphone on the apple.com
