Skull Candy HESH Headphones Review

These headphones feature a 50mm drivers with a frequency range of 100 - 18,000 Hz. They have an impedance of 32 Ohms and a max input power of 100 milli watts, it has an OFC cable with a length of 1.2M with a 3.5mm gold plated jack. They are noise isolating headphones so when you put them on you can immediately hear the background noise just disappear, and when you have music playing you can’t hear anything.

It has a thick leather cushioning all around the headphones to make wearing them as comfortable as possible. And I can honestly say that they are probably the most comfortable headphones I’ve ever worn, but as with any pair of over ear headphones after wearing them for a while they do start to irritate your ears. The cable is single sided for easy cable organization. and it has a built in volume controller with a clip.

As for the design they look really cool, they have a pattern on the top that just says Skull Candy in loads of different fonts and then a few Skull Candy logos. Then, the logos on the outside of the ears have the same pattern, but that pattern then makes up the skull candy logo which look pretty cool. Inside the ears, they have the same pattern again, but it is a grey-ish colour instead of green. The bass is amazing, if you have the volume up and there's a lot of bass, I’ve found that they do distort a tiny bit, but it’s not that noticeable.

The plastic around the ear part seems like a good quality plastic, but when you go to the part that goes around your head it does feel a little flimsy and a lot of people have said that they have found them to break very easily but so far so good for me, although there is a limited lifetime warranty for these. If you break them, they will give you 50% off another pair, or if the product is defective they will replace it.
