How to Upload your iWeb Website

This article was originally posted at http://mrmacandpc.com/Mr_Mac_and_PC/Tutorials/Entries... (It includes pictures)

Step One: Get your FTP user information (FTP, user name, and password). This is found at the website that’s hosting your website. It’s usually under the section hosting, and then FTP User Management. You may need to create a FTP account if one is not already set up.

Step Two: Click on the name of your site. Next, change “Publish to:” to: FTP Server.

Step Three: Under FTP Server Settings, fill in Server Address, User name, and Password.

Step Four: Fill in the Directory/Path. This is usually a forward slash, and then your domain. Ex: /mrmacandpc.com

Step Five: Leave Protocol and Port the same unless you know your supposed to change them.

Step Six: Under Website URL, enter your website URL.

Step Seven: Test the connection.

Step Eight: If the connection tested successfully, publish your site.
