My First Mac

I have for-filled one of my dreams. If you didn’t know by now, I have always loved Apples technology and especially there Macs. Three days ago, something I had ordered arrived. A 2005 PowerBook G4. Now before you start rambling about how it’s not intel or how it is old, consider that this is my first Mac. I will be using this as my main laptop (and sort of desktop) and already I have seen speed difference between my Windows PC and this. Even though the Windows PC had a 2.9GHZ processor and 2.5GB of RAM, I think that this PowerBook has still got much more to offer.

Yeah, the PowerBook G4 has only got a G4 processor. And yeah, it only has 512MB of RAM (which I will be soon replacing). But it’s a Mac. The sleekness I love, the smoothness I love, and the OS I love. All this helps me so much for things like school, and my GCSE photography class (which I also love).

So I don’t care how old it is, or what specs it has. To me it is a Mac.

I bought a iMac G3 on EBay for 99 pence. This was a brilliant introduction to OSX and the world of Mac.

I just bought a late '06 C2D iMac, and I use it every day. Apple has integrated their technology to work hand in hand with their OS's even at later dates.
