Speed up your iPhone

Is iOS 4.2 killing your older device? Since iOS 4 came out, I have been experiencing slow downs on my iPhone 3G. Even simple tasks like loading the settings menu are significantly slower on iOS 4 than they were on the last release of iOS 3 (3.1.3). I don't even want to get into how laggy some of the games are on my iPhone 3G.

I made the video above, showing 3 simple things you can do to speed up your older device. After doing the 3 things on my iPhone 3G, everything loaded a little bit faster, and many of the apps that were laggy before ran perfectly.
